| My Geordie mother and London born father
brought up their three children in and around the Thames Valley area. I was born in 1947,
and educated at local schools until at thirteen I was sent to the Brigidine Convent in
Windsor, where dancing and acting were very much part of the curriculum we put on
shows at the Scala Theatre every year. |
 |
| I knew then that acting was to be my life, but had to get
through A Levels at Ashford Grammar School before going to Drama School to really feel at
home. My training was at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. |

In 1981, I married the
guitarist Max Brittain, giving birth to first, Emily in 1983, then in 1990, identical
twins Alice and Olivia. We moved out of London in 1995, but the same year I was diagnosed
with breast cancer. With enormous support from family and friends, I recovered, having had
treatment at Hammersmith Hospital and the Bristol Cancer Help Centre. I now offer support
to other patients by talking to them, writing articles, or giving interviews. Click HERE* for my interview
on Panorama where I'm talking about positive thinking. |

Through the BCHC I met the wonderful healer,
Barbara Siddall who introduced me to the work of Peter Dawkins and the Francis Bacon
Research Trust. An affiliated organisation is the Gatekeeper
Trust, of which I am now a Trustee. I write and give talks on various aspects of the
esoteric, my particular interests being the studies of sacred geometry and earth energies,
and how they are affecting our lives today. |
